Pre-release testing for v0.3.11

The next (old-)stable release, v0.3.11, is starting to be ready. I
merged in couple of most important fixes from the development branch and
0.4.x. Please test the following snapshot files and let me know if there
are any issues that should be fixed before the release. I'm planning on
releasing v0.3.11 after couple of days of testing.
