Thanks! I applied this with some coding style cleanup and couple of
tests added for verifying that memory allocation was successful.

I did not change Makefile to install this. If /etc/dbus-1/system.d is
always going to be the correct directory (i.e., doesn't depend on the
distribution), it should be fine to copy the file into
$(DESTDIR)/etc/dbus-1/system.d if that directory exists (or should it be
added if it doesn't?).
