hostap_pci/hostapd problems on linux-2.6.14.6

Hi,

I ran hostap_pci/hostapd successfully for quite some time now with
Linux kernel 2.6.12.5 and externally compiled hostap driver.

However, since switching to Linux 2.6.14.6 and native hostap the
kernel logs are full of messages like

hostapd says:

I tried both hostap 0.4.5 (debian) and 0.4.7 from
hostap.epitest.fi/hostapd without success.

I will take a look at the changes between driver in 2.6.14.6 and
externally compiled one.  Any idea?
