slackware10.0 + hostap driver

lib/modules/2.4.26/build/.config.old 

exists, if this makes any since!

you dont have the source kernel for 2.4.26.

or

The file /lib/modules/2.4.26/build it's linking to a wrong location.
Ex point do /usr/src/linux and /usr/src/linux point to another place.
