Shared IRQ Problem

I have a Senao NL-2511CD, Prism2.5 chipset, 16bit pcmcia card. I get a hard lockup whenever the HostAP driver tries to load.
pcmcia: request for exclusive IRQ could not be fulfilled.
pcmcia: the driver needs updating to supported shared IRQ lines.
^ this is what i get just before it crashes. It tries to assign it to IRQ 11. i would try to display the exact message from dmesg, but it always locks up immeadatly after this, with nothing more than the hardware address and IRQ where it is assigning it.
Ive tried 2.6.19.1 as well, and it does the same thing, as well as 2.6.18.1. All do the same thing. Just for kicks i modprobed the orinoco_cs and hermes drivers, both cause a lockup.
Is there any way to fix this on my machine where -everything- is IRQ 11?
