It looks like the first two messages of the 4-way handshake are going
through fine, but the client/supplicant does not like something in the
message 3. There is no response to it, so hostapd will disconnect the
client after couple of retries.

What kind of client are you using? Which wireless card? Which
OS/driver/supplicant? Would it be possible to get debug information from
this client/supplicant?
