Hi,

I'm running Fedora Core 5 on Inspiron 6000. I want the wired
interface to use wpa_supplicant which is a broadcom bcm4401-B0.
The website says that it supports at least the broadcom wireless cards,
Broadcom wl.o driver. It seems that the driver for the bcm4401-B0 is
listed as b44.

--------from dmesg
b44: eth0: Link is down.
b44: eth0: Link is up at 100 Mbps, full duplex.
b44: eth0: Flow control is off for TX and off for RX.
--------

is it possible to compile the b44 driver w/ wpa_supplicant?

Any ideas on how to get this to work or alternatives would help.

Below is the error messages from wpa_supplicant.

Thanks,
