Dear all:
- I extracted wpa_supplicant-windows-bin-0.4.1 in a winXP (without SP1a),
- ndis_events.exe is running in DOS_prompt
- in another DOS_prompt:
- win_if_list.exe get the following output:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C:\wpa_supplicant-windows-bin-0.4.1>win_if_list.exe
ifname: \Device\NPF_GenericNdisWanAdapter
description: Generic NdisWan adapter
ifname: \Device\NPF_{3E94358E-F7E1-4DEE-AF8E-34A92F8B084B}
description: Intel(R) PRO Adapter (Microsoft's Packet Scheduler)
ifname: \Device\NPF_{04086B0F-A3D4-4DD7-AAA3-49D44C750165}
description: NET IP/1394 Miniport
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-After keyin "wpa_supplicant -iIntel -c wpa_supplicant.conf -d", I alway get:
Trying to associate with SSID 'example'
Association request to the driver failed
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
do you kindly to tell me, can I use wired Lan card to connect Hostapd?
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Wai Lun
