A question about "retry" item in iwconfig

Though the hostap mailinglist may not be adequate for this issue I try 
to give you a short answer. Madwifi does up to 10 retries on the hal 
layer. The limit is furthermore specified on compile time. For 
management frames the retry is disabled. -- Regards,
