Packet Loss

Using iptables and setting -->
TCPMSS tcp -- anywhere anywhere tcp
flags:SYN,RST/SYN TCPMSS set 1000
on INPUT, FORWARD, and OUTPUT helps a little, however I am still
having connection reset problems. A tcpdump only show
retransmissions, nothing out of the ordinary for wlan.
any ideas?
