Question about hostapd (authenticator) support for wired (Ethernet) clients

Hey there,

Is it possible to use the hostapd (authenticator) in a wireline
environment?

Basically, the authenticator will have two (2) wireline (Ethernet)
interfaces.

One interface will connect to the client (supplicator) and the other
interface

will connect to a LAN segment where the RADIUS server is located. Notice

that this setup feature NO wireless connectivity.

Is this setup feasible and out-of-the-box with the HostAP software for
the

authenticator side?

Thanks,

- Ricardo
