Problems with WPA-PSK and madwifi driver

In my case the lights blink together in equal time intervals.  It seems that 
the card is somehow connected to the router but it can't get a valid ip 
address.  I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Here is the output of iwconfig and ifconfig after issuing the commands:
