SuSE 9.1 Problems

Also, something I forgot to mention,
lsmod, and any further insmods fail to produce any output and fail to exit.
ctrl-c wont kill any of the locked up procedures.
I have tried this with the standard SuSE 9.1 kernel and with linux 2.6.10.
