Hi,
I downloaded the kernel source, kernel headers, and hostap.
root at ubuntu:/usr/src # ls -l
total 36740
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 119107 2004-12-28 21:43 hostap-source.tar.bz2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root src 19 2005-08-12 18:34 linux -> linux-source-2.6.10
drwxr-xr-x 17 root root 4096 2005-08-13 10:15 linux-headers-2.6.10-5
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2005-08-13 10:15 linux-headers-2.6.10-5-386
drwxr-xr-x 18 root root 4096 2005-08-13 09:49 linux-source-2.6.10
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 37431650 2005-06-24 15:06 linux-source-2.6.10.tar.bz2
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2004-12-28 21:43 modules
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4096 2005-08-12 11:03 rpm
but when I do a make from within the in the /usr//usr/src/modules/hostap-source
I get a ton of errors starting off with:
make -C /usr/src/linux
SUBDIRS=/usr/src/hostap/modules/hostap-source/driver/modules \
MODVERDIR=/usr/src/hostap/modules/hostap-source/driver/modules modules
