wpa_supplicant not handshaking with wrtg54gs

I just bought a linksys wrtg54gs to replace my piece of crap SMC
wireless switch. I had WPA working with it until I upgraded the
firmware (I think that was the event that stopped things from working
but am not positive).
wpa_supplicant on my client only shows me:

This seems pretty basic but nothing obvious is popping out at me. Any
