Thanks for your help...
I have tried all of your suggestions - but no luck. This crashing
issue doesn't seem to be cold or warm boot related. I have also made
sure the modules are unloaded properly - but no luck there either.
Alas, the evil dwl-520 and its fry's mail-in rebate may win this battle.
