FreeRADIUS

So...what does it take to get HostAP to talk to FreeRADIUS for basic 
access control?  All I have so far is a successful test using NTRadPing 
and a functional wireless network.  Help?

Ultimately, I want access control and encryption.  Currently, I'm 
running OpenVPN for encryption.

Server details:
Red Hat 9.0
Linux 2.4.20
HostAP 0.2.5
FreeRADIUS 1.0.1
DWL-520 802.11b PCI card

Client details:
WinXP or Red Hat 9.0
ORiNOCO Gold 802.11b PCMCIA card
