Change of wlan0 MAC

Thanks, that's just what I did, router up and running already for weeks. 
I have replaced occasionally
locking DI-614+ with linux box with hostap and even when I'm not such a 
newbie in linux anymore,
I must say LINUX ROCKS again :). There seems to be improvement in 
reliability of packet sending,
but I have observed strange behavior. All wireless clients are 
DWL-900AP+ in client mode, behind
of them are 1 till 5 PCs. Hostap driver says that all of them are 
running at 1Mbits, even if hostap is
configured and running at 11Mbits and so are configured all DWL-900AP+. 
I can see in MAC entries
in /proc/net/hostap/wlan0 for each client something like this:

...
tx[1M]=1
tx[2M]=0
tx[5.5M]=0
tx[11M]=19211
rx[1M]=15549
rx[2M]=0
rx[5.5M]=0
rx[11M]=1

I have also observed that with DI-614+ replacing the download speed 
between two clients dropped
from about 270kB/s to around 70kB/s.

I'm using hostap 0.2.0 without hostapd on Mandrake 10.0 with kernel 
2.6.3. Config files attached.

Any idea what is going wrong ?
