bridge or ip forwarding

Hello to All,

The setting of WDS is done with the bridge as per the README file. I have given the ip address for bridge which contains wlan0 and wlan0wds0 interface on one AP and for other AP the bridge contains wlan0 ,eth0 & wlan0wds0. this worked fine...

but i m curious to know what will happen if i enable the IP forwarding? should i  assign IP to wlan0,eth0 ,wlan0wds0 independently?
i also want to know the pros/cons of using ipforwarding and bridge utiliites...

waiting for a clue on this issue
