Segmentation fault when running hostapd

I ended up killing the kernel on the system, so I've reinstalled.
Since I want to have this be a WPA-Enterprise Access Point, I'm trying
a snapshot of the development series snapshot from today. I've
installed the debug version of the glibc in debian, and I get the
following from gdb
