Error while starting cardmgr

Dear Team ,
After Installing HostAp (verion 0.1.3 ), while starting the cardmgr , 
the following warning is comming . My OS is RH9, kernel 2.4.20-6. Does 
any one have any idea regarding this warning :

wlan0: Warning: secondary station firmware version 1.4.2 does not seem 
to work in Host AP mode.
