Spurious IRQ 7/ 5.0V card

Hi

well thanx again for the reply, i guess it's frustating to keep trying just
incase something works :-). Neways i will keep trying on this system. Mean
while I came out with something interesting.

I loaded the "linksys wpc11" 5.0 V card with orinoco_cs.o driver and its
working fine. System does not hang and i can do anything i can , it comes up
with "wireless interface" eth1 and all is fine. But when i do dmesg
"spurious 8259A IRQ 7" ,it is still there. But why only in this case it is
not causing any trouble, as it is causing trouble while loading this card
with "hostap_cs.o" module.

Again just to be clear, i tried to load "linksys wpc11 " card with BOTH
orinoco_cs and hostap_cs BUT it works only with orinoco_cs.o despite the
Spurious IRQ 7 is there in dmesg in both the cases. Ahhhhh wried. What is
the difference between both the drivers, is the way interrupts are handled
in both drivers is very different. why the card only works with ORINOCO_cs
driver.

FYI i have loaded this"linksys" card with hostap_cs on my laptop and it
works but does not work on this PC104/PCMCIA adapter.Does my adapter do not
like "hostap"?

I will appreciate if you, journi or pavel or any body else can able to
suggest me something on this issue. Brian!! if possible cud you send me the
'optional parameters' you used to load the "i82365.0" module in
/etc/syconfig/pcmcia. I am also using 2.4.20 of redhat:-)

Thanx and have a good day!!
