HostAP on ThinkPad T30 - Got wlan0 in ifconfig but can't scan orget an IP

You may need to check what mode your card is in. Hostap defaults to Master
mode. Try iwconfig wlan0 and see if the card is in Master mode. If it is,
try iwconfig wlan0 mode managed.
