Your link doesn't work. You probably mean
http://hostap.epitest.fi/cvs.html

That's what I meant and that's what I'm using.

I assumed that you didn't actually put space in front of "=". Anyway, it
doesn't work for me either way:

# modprobe hostap_pci no_primary=1
FATAL: Error inserting hostap_pci
(/lib/modules/2.6.2-rc2/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/hostap_pci.ko):
Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
# modprobe hostap_pci no_primary =1
FATAL: Error inserting hostap_pci
(/lib/modules/2.6.2-rc2/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/hostap_pci.ko):
Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

I'm using Linux 2.6.2-rc2 and modprobe from module-init-tools version
3.0-pre5. But I'm quite sure that the modprobe from modutils used with
2.4.x kernels won't allow unknown parameters either.

To keep up to date you should run "cvs update" in the CVS working
directory, recompile the source and reinstall it. Sorry if it's obvious
for you.
