thank you Pavel... old firmware: 1.1.0/1.4.9 now: 1.1.2/1.7.4 I flashed using winupdate, without a hitch, but has made no difference. I havent played with Ethereal much yet, but will tomorrow. Your thoughts are to find out "physically" what packets are being sent/recieved, correct? Will do, or attempt to. Thanks all' Jerryf
