Andrew, you are great.  I decided to look at your rc.wlan script to see 
what you were doing, and i realized the giant brain-fart i was having, 
i forgot to ifconfig wlan0 up.  DUH  It works great.  I haven't noticed 
it locking up my linksys befw11s4 yet, but it's only been up a few 
minutes.  BTW, i'm going to steal your script, or at least some of the 
niceties of it.

I just want you all to know how much help this list has been 
(especially you Andrew).  Heaven knows that if i was dealing with M$ 
over hardware, i would have spent months trying to get stuff to work, 
instead of days.  You guys can do more with less than most of the 
programmers out there.   Long live the opensource community...

P.S.  I'll be continuing to watch this list, as i see what a great job 
it does.
