hi all,
I intend to use a Ricoh PCI-PCMCIA adapter and a Dlink DWL 650 PCMCIA card
to turn a RH9 Desktop PC into an Access Point

Compiling the external PCMCIA_CS package and start pcmcia service, what I
had was:

root at futuplan root]# iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

sit0 no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11-DS ESSID:"test"
          Mode:Master
          Encryption key:off
          Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

At this time, other WLAN card on an XP machines could not detect the signal
!!!

Because ifconfig doesnot show the wlan0 interface,I bring it up. Strangely,
wlan0 extension disappeared:

[root at futuplan proc]# ifconfig wlan0 up
[root at futuplan proc]# iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

sit0 no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

wlan0 no wireless extensions.

and yet the Dlink card still blinking ???
Some searching on the mailing list showed that I have to load the i82365
module and assign some irq for it. I did load it but yet know how to assign
irq.

Can anyone help me with some experience on this issue ?
Thanks alot and thanks for reading :-)
