wlan0: no no IPv6 routers present

I cannot ping or otherwise communicate with any internal or external
IPs.  I get a "Destination Host Unreachable" message when I try.

In the laptop's messages log, I see this message "wlan0: no no IPv6
routers present"

SuSE 9 comes with hostap-0.0.4-68 and wireless-tools-26-80.  I
previously ran RedHat 9 on this machine and the wireless worked well
with hostap-0.0.3.

Any ideas?
