Hey, at least they *changed* the model number.  Both D-Link and
Linksys have produced cards where they changed the chipset without
changing the model number -- you have to check the hardware
revision...!

eg

Linksys WPC11 (hardware rev 1 through 3)       Prism2/2.5/3 - works with hostap
Linksys WPC11 (hardware rev 4)		       Realtek - doesn't (obviously)

D-Link DWL-G650 (hardware rev A1)	       PrismGT
D-Link DWL-G650 (hardware rev B1 through C1)   Atheros
