Looking for troubleshooting advice, stuck at installation ..

Does the output above look like it may be related to the following FAQ item?

"4. What is causing 'Unresolved symbols' in depmod/modprobe?

Installation of Host AP driver (e.g, 'make install_pccard') may report
unresolved symbols when running depmod. These are usually caused with
mismatch in kernel configuration for modversions."

I followed the README instructions and advice I have been given here and still end up with the unresolved symbol problem on a fresh SuSE 9.0 notebook when compiling hostap from source.  When I install the SuSE hostap RPM and then compile from source, everything seems to work.  I would leave it at that, but I would like to get a HOWTO together for other SuSE users so I'm trying to figure out how to get a good install from hostap source alone.
