Number of drivers do not have support for scanning for a particular
SSID. You could also try the current development snapshot from CVS and
set ap_scan=2. This does not use scanning for finding the AP. For this,
you will also need to set proto, key_mgmt, pairwise, and group
explicitly to the modes used by the AP. However, I have not tested this
with IPW2100, so I do not know whether it works or not.
