Can't modprobe hostap cs....!!!!!!HELP~~~

HI~~~
I've got a trouble 
my wireless adapter: ASUS WL-100 PCMCIA (prism 2.5) 
OS: Redhat 9  kernel-2.4.20
--------------------------------------------------------
ln -s /usr/src/linux-2.4.20-8 /usr/src/linux
cp /usr/src/linux/configs/kernel-2.4.20-i686.config /usr/src/linux/.config
tar -zxvf hostap-driver-0.2.5.tar.gz
cd hostap-driver-0.2.5
make 
make install
     <So far has not the wrong news....>

But when I carry out modprobe hostap_cs to have the mistake
 The mistake news is as follows:

    [root at localhost pcmcia]# modprobe hostap_cs

   But I go to download packages from  
    "http://www.cat.pdx.edu/~baera/redhat_hostap/"   
    HOSTAP can normally operate........
  
 Why I can't I cannot own install stey by stey?
