Just flash with "prism2_srec -v -f wlan0 pk010101.hex sf010704.hex" or
volatile with "prism2_srec -v -r wlan0 ak010101.hex rf010704.hex" (firmware
will be old again after reboot)

pkXXXXXX is primary non-volatile flash and sfXXXXXX is secondary
non-volatile flash. I think secondary flash version 010704 is most stable,
at least for my prism 2.5 mini-pci cards.
For non-volatile flashing you have to enable it in hostap-config.h in the
driver directory before compiling.

Unfortunately that?s not possible for me. If I trie it on the wlan
interface,
it tellsbash-2.05b# ./prism2_srec -g wlan0
/home/steffen/Desktop/rf010800.hex
srec summary for rf010800.hex
Included file name: RF010800.hex
Component: 0x001f 1.8.0 (station firmware)

ioctl[PRISM2_IOCTL_HOSTAPD]: No such device
Missing wlan component info
Could not read wlan RIDs

Any suggestions?

Steffen
