Problems making WPA work with ndiswrapper/broadcom

I've just discovered something very strange.

The MAC address reported by iwlist wlan0 scan
and wpa_supplicant is different than what the
AP really has (just last 4 digits differ).
So this seems to be an ndiswrapper issue.

In general, iwconfig commands don't seem to change
anything as well.  I'm off to the ndiswrapper mailing
list until I find out what's up with that.
