Orinoco client claims the speed is 1Mb/s

I Have an Samsung WLAN PCI Card (Model SWL-2100P).
It works with hostap?
If true wich version of hostap I have to use?

You can lock orinoco pcmcia and usb clients at 11mbps by going into the
registry and adding the string  TXRateControl , with a value of 5.
