iwspy more than one adress

hello!

if i try to use iwspy for more than one address i get the following error:

[root at mtx-62 root]# ./iwspy wlan0 + 192.168.1.100
Interface doesn't accept reading addresses...
SIOCGIWSPY: Argument list too long

and a message in my syslog:

klogd: wlan0 (WE) : Buffer for request 8B11 too small (0<1)

i use hostap-driver-0.1.2 and kernel 2.4.23-rc5 on a mipsel platform, wireless 
extensions 16 and wireless tools 26.

is it impossible to monitor more than one address with hostap? or did i miss 
something?
