seeting up ad-hoc network

hello,
       following is the output of the iwconfig command when i am trying to
setup ad-hoc network...

1.this is output from machine having cisco-aironet card

i am not able to ping the machines 

what is problem?

neither of the two pcs have the mac address as shown by cell.
