Sorry!  I forgot to attach it and then sent it to Jouni, but I'll not be 
able to get a copy of it until Tuesday :-(

This should help:

make PCMCIA_PATH='/home/thomas/pcmcia_cs-3.2.5' clean all

Environment variables are not used by make unless you specify the "-e"  
option to "make", but it's generally not a good idea.
