P.S. Is cardmgr running?  How come that hostap_cs is loaded but the device
information is unavailable?  Either cardmgr dies after it loads hostap_cs
and before you run "cardctl ident", or you are doing something wrong, e.g.
you are loading hostap_cs manually.  In the later case, PCMCIA HOWTO may 
be useful.
