HostAP beyond prism

Hi Jouni,

Your work on hostap is really great, and this makes me wonder:
what will happen when prism-based cards will finally turn into
'old and esoteric hardware' category. It would be a great pity
to have all your code junked.

What are requirements for card's hardware in order to be able
of AP mode in principle? Receiving and sending frames with totally
arbitrary contents will do I guess...

Is there anything in sight except prism?
