PCMCIA 802.11 wireless network cards suggestions

Hi, I am looking at setting up a small wireless network for my laptop.

What would you recommend in the prism2 based cards available, and the best 
way to integrate it with my existing 10/100 network.

I am more interested in the range of the cards and the price rather than 
the top speed. Which configuration would give the best range? an access 
point, or PCI Card in my masq box?
