This may not work either. Most PRISM 2.5 based cards have receive
diversity but not transmit diversity. Take a close look at the switches
in following block diagram:

Unlike the PRISM 2 recommended layout:

where the received signal has to go through two switches no matter what,
the PRISM 2.5 design increases sensitivity by a dB or so by skipping a
switch when the primary antenna is selected. Of course, this comes at
the expense of transmit diversity.

The older EnGenius/Senao cards with "2011" in their model name
definitely have transmit diversity. I'm pretty sure that the newer
"2511" cards can only transmit out of one port.
