2002.10.12 => 0.0.[1-3] problem

Hi List,

i've just tried to upgrade my hostap from 2002.10.12 (Debian package) to
0.0.3 (hostap release).  Everything worked well for month until I loaded the
new hostap_pci.o module. The WLAN NIC is a Netgear MA311 - the Mainboard is
a MSI K7T Turbo (VIA KT133A)

After 'modprobe hostap_pci' the whole system freezes. I get the following
output on the console, which looks good for me until the freeze:

hostap_pci: 0.0.3 - 2003-05-18 ......
PCI: Found IRQ 15 for device 00:0c.0
hostap_pci: Registered netdevice wlan0
---> freeze

=> I rebooted and loaded the 2002.10.12 modules again => everything works
well

I've played around with 0.0.1, but I am facing the same problem.

=> I thought to try in on a different host (ABIT BH6 / Intel BX chipset) =>
same Problem, system freezes
=> another host (ASUS A7V8X / VIA KT400) => hostap 0.0.3 works well

I've also tried the latest CVS snapshot without luck...

Has anybody else of you had such problems? (2002.10.12 works and 0.0.? not)
Can I do anything to provide more detailed logs?
Any ideas?
