Hello There!
I'm using hostap_cs in a embedded linux board (Motorola's FADS) with kernel
2.4.20-pre11 and pcmcia-cs 3.1.22 or pcmcia-cs 3.2.3. After compiling
everything without a glitch and loading up all modules, a win2k laptop is
able to connecto to my acess point. After some ramdom time, I get the
following message:
# NETDEV WATCHDOG: wlan0: transmit timed out
wlan0 Tx timed out! Resetting card
hostap_cs: wlan0: resetting card
wlan0: Interrupt, but SWSUPPORT0 does not match: 0000 != 8A32 - card removed?
wlan0: Interrupt, but SWSUPPORT0 does not match: 0000 != 8A32 - card removed?
wlan0: Interrupt, but SWSUPPORT0 does not match: 0008 != 8A32 - card removed?
wlan0: Interrupt, but SWSUPPORT0 does not match: 0000 != 8A32 - card removed?
While loading, the hostap shows these messages:
hostap_cs: index 0x01: Vcc 5.0, irq 9, io 0x0100-0x013f
Cat on /proc/interrupts:
# cat /proc/interrupts
CPU0
5: 630 8xx SIU Edge cpm
9: 24 8xx SIU Edge hostap_cs
11: 0 8xx SIU Edge m8xx_pcmcia
15: 0 8xx SIU Edge tbint
The time to the error is random, sometimes I'm able to download some data (1
meg), sometimes it takes just a sec to give the error. I've already read some
messages on the list about similar errors, but of them refers to PCI boards,
not PCMCIA. Any help is greatly appreciated!
