Could you please be more specific on what packet you are refering to
with "authentication request"? IEEE 802.11 authentication frame? Some
IEEE 802.1X EAPOL/EAP packet? Which version of the Host AP driver are
you using? What driver and supplicant are you using in the station? Have
you verified whether station is really sending the frame that hostapd
does not receive?
