Linux 2.4.20 should have wireless_send_event().. Please check:

grep wireless_send_event /proc/ksyms
grep wireless_send_event /usr/src/linux/include/linux/modules/netsyms.ver 

(these should show the avbove mentioned symbol with matching 32-bit
number if you have identical configuration for both Linux and Host AP
driver compilations)
