Thanks. I cleaned it up a bit and merged it into CVS.

Well, yes, sort of.. ;-) You can add a new SSID in the zero-config
options and WinXP seems to probe for the configured SSID every now and
then.. At least I have been able to associate with WinXP to an AP that
did not include SSID in beacons and ignored probes using broadcast SSID.
However, this does not seem to be very reliable. Some drivers allow more
reliable configuration of SSID and one could also disable zero-config
and use vendor-specific tools for setting up SSID.
