Communication between APs

Hello,

I am using "hostap-2002-10-12" to make my pcmcia card work as an Access Point (AP).

I've configured two Linux m/cs, one working as STA (Managed mode) and the other one as AP
(Master mode), the communication between them works fine.
But if I configure both of them as APs, I am unable to communicate between them.  I've kept the
ESSIDs for both the APs same.

I want to make sure that whether is it possible to communicate between APs using the
'hostap-2002-10-12' ? If yes, what configurations I should take care of.
