Problems upon PC card insertion

Hello,
 
I have been working the last few days to get HostAP running on my Linux
laptop.  I have made a lot of progress but I am still having several
problems.  In particular, when I insert the PC card (I am using an Intersil
WPC11) I get the following:
 
wlan0: Warning: secondary station firmware 1.4.2 does not seem to work in
Host AP mode
wlan0: Channel setting out of range (3)!
wlan0: Possible interrupt delivery problem - hostap_cs got 8 tick events
(expected about 100)
 
 
Does anybody know what this means?
