I saw that article you referenced in the archives. Is there anything I
can do to help? I'm a fairly technical person and I've done
developement work in the past; however, this would be my first driver
developement effort and my unix developement consists of re-compiling
the kernel, and makeing minor syntax fixing changes to other people's
code. I'd be willing to help in any way I can, like running beta code
etc. on my DWL-122 USB card.
This article
http://airsnarf.shmoo.com/pipermail/hostap/2003-December/004987.html
mentions looking at the linux-wlan driver for a starting point. I've
spent a little time over the last couple of days looking at that.
Essentially the code is all in prism2sta.c and both prism2_pci.c and
prism2_usb.c include it. prism2_pci.c defines "WLAN_PCI" and includes
"hfa384x.c" where as prism2_usb.c defines "WLAN_USB" and includes
"hfa384x_usb.c". That's all the further I've got in the limited time
I've spent looking at it.
Thanks,
